Me

Nathan Faubion currently works as the lead graphic designer for Glory of Zion International, managing material designs, web ads, and brochures.

Prior to this, he worked freelance as a graphic designer and web developer. He received many honors and awards for his art and academics in high school. This earned him a full scholarship to The University of Texas at Dallas where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Art and Technology.

Nathan owns a home in the north DFW area with his wife, Rebekah. They are expecting their first child.

Qualifications
  • Six(+) years of experience in web technologies. (HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Flash)
  • Three years of professional graphic design experience. (Adobe Creative Suite, print)
  • Proficient on both Macintosh and Windows systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within strict deadlines while fully conceptualizing projects with limited input and guidelines.
  • Five(+) years programming experience with the ability to read through documentation and create usable applications. (PHP, MySQL, Actionscript, Java, Objective-C, Wordpress)
  • Self-disciplined time-management skills developed from years of freelance work.

  • Created brochures, business cards, CD covers, book covers, DVD covers, web advertisements/banners, illustrations, greeting cards, stationary, and logos for various organizations.
  • Designed websites from scratch with hand-coded, standards-compliant HTML and CSS.
  • Programmed client-side libraries with Javascript and back-end applications using PHP/MySQL.

  • Graduated in the top 10% from Frisco High School with honors, receiving academic and artistic accolades.
